Celebrate Recovery

Addiction Recovery

A Christ-centered recovery program for anyone dealing with life's hurts, hangups, or habits.

Celebrate Recovery emphasizes personal responsibility. Instead of being the victim, this program helps people look at the choices they've made and discover what they can do about them. We cannot control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we respond to it. This recovery program emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ. Lasting recovery cannot happen without this step. Everybody needs Jesus. This recovery program recognizes the biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally. It is built around small group interaction and the fellowship of a caring community. Celebrate Recovery is built on the New Testament principle that we don’t get well by ourselves. We need each other.

What to Expect

Weekly Meeting: Celebrate Recovery has a weekly corporate meeting on Friday nights. That meeting consists of a time of fellowship both before and after the meeting. Along with the fellowship, there is a Large Group Meeting and an Open Share Meeting.

Fellowship: We have a family meal at 6 p.m. on Friday nights, before the start of the Large Group Meeting. During this time of fellowship, we eat as a family, welcome newcomers and minister to anyone that is hurting just by listening and praying with one another. After groups, we encourage everyone to hang out and get to know one another.

Large Group: The Celebrate Recovery Large Group Meeting features an extended time of uplifting praise & worship in music to Jesus Christ. Worship allows us to shift the focus from our problems to the only One who can bring serenity and transformation. We explore the recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered Twelve Steps, and we hear amazing “Stories to Celebrate” of those who are receiving victory over their fears, addictions, attitudes, and behaviors.

Open Share and Step Study Groups: We break out into smaller groups to dive deeper into how working these steps can bring us closer to Jesus and free us from our struggles all the while creating relationships with others which is key to growing.
