The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

HRBC takes an annual trip to the processing center to serve the weekend after Thanksgiving. There are other opportunities throughout the year to get involved in this ministry. HRBC collects items throughout the year to prepare boxes at the end of each year. Please view the calendar below to know what to donate each month. There are collection bins at our OCC station in the foyer to give at any time.

- APRIL - Small Gardening Tools, Small Tools (tape measure, hammer, screwdriver, etc.), Sewing Kits
- MAY - Wash Cloths, Toothbrushes, Band-Aids, Combs, Hair Accessories, Nail Clippers
- JUNE - Kid Size T-Shirts, Flip Flops, Underwear
- JULY - Sunglasses, Watches, Necklaces, Bracelets
- AUGUST - School Supplies
- SEPTEMBER - Plastic Cups, Reusable Cutlerv
